Dear Parents of a CDOG Swimmer,
Welcome to the Sea Dog (CDOG) Swim Club. We are excited to have you as a member of the Swim Team Parents’ Association (STPA). The STPA board is elected to represent the parents and help support the YMCA and its coaches to produce a successful swim team by organizing and running home swim meets; raising funds to support the needs of the team; help organize and conduct social activities; oversee swim team registration; enhance team communication and organize parents into an effective volunteer structure. With a team of this size, the board cannot do this alone. We need every parent to get involved in the many programs and events undertaken every year to support our team.
Please get involved! We have many opportunities available to choose from: serve on a committee, participate in or help with one of our social functions, chaperone an away meet, help with the team banquet, operate the computer or timing system at a meet, write a newsletter, take photos at meets, or become an official or referee – these are only a few ways you can get involved. If you have hidden talents that would help the STPA, please let us know. We welcome your ideas and energy. The STPA needs every parent to be involved to make this a successful organization.
Feel free to contact any member of the board or us at any time. Contact information can be found on the CDOG web site,

Sincerely,
Cheryl Guetens & Nancy Erickson
